Certified Trainer

Three Thursdays, four hours each. Pick a start date.

Every Certified Trainer cohort runs as three four-hour live sessions on Thursdays, with preparation and applied work in the weeks between. Cohorts run in three regional windows so the timing is sensible wherever you are, and the credential is identical whichever one you join.

Three regional windows

  • UK and Europe09:00 – 13:00 GMT
  • North America13:00 – 17:00 ET
  • Asia Pacific09:00 – 13:00 SGT

Every session runs on a Thursday, usually a week apart.

How a cohort runs

Three sessions, a week apart

The gap is the point. Four hours of instruction becomes something you can deliver only if there is a week in between to try it.

Before each session

Preparation, including a review of your own report, so a session starts with everyone at the same point.

Between sessions

Applied work in your own context. Facilitation practice and interpretation, brought back to the next session.

After the third

Consolidation and assessment. Certification is awarded on completion of the program requirements, not on attendance.

If none of these work

Four people is enough to open your own

In-house certification is the same course, the same content and the same credential, delivered privately for a group from one organization at times you choose. Minimum four, maximum twelve with one facilitator.

It is also the better option if you would rather the examples and applied work came from your own business rather than from a mixed cohort, which for an internal L&D team is usually the case.

Cohort questions

Why Thursdays?

Every session runs on a Thursday, in every region. It sounds arbitrary and it is not: a fixed day means a practitioner can block the same slot three weeks running without renegotiating a diary each time, and it means the applied work between sessions always falls across the same working days.

What happens between sessions?

A week, and it is not empty. There is preparation before each session and applied work after it — facilitation practice, interpretation, and reviewing your own report. The week is the part that turns four hours of instruction into something you can deliver. Where a public holiday falls on a session date the cohort runs fortnightly instead, which is why the November North America dates skip Thanksgiving.

What if the times do not work for me?

Sessions run at a sensible hour in their own region, which means they will be inconvenient outside it. If none of the three regional windows works, tell us — in-house certification runs at times you choose, and a group of four is enough to open one.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on where in the world you are, because certification is delivered regionally. Tell us where you are based and the rates that apply to you come back within one business day.

What if a cohort is full?

Join the waitlist. Cohorts do release places, and a full cohort in one region often means we open an additional one in the following month.
